Biography
NADINE LEVY, is an Entrepreneur, Visionary, Discipler and a most inspiring Teacher. She received her graduate degrees in architecture in Jamaica, and the United states, from the College of Arts, Science & Technology, Florida State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, and her masters in Christian Education form Luther Rice Seminary, Lithonia Georgia. She is the founder of Up Build Design, and 8(a) Certified, woman and minority owned and operated architecture, design, project management and construction firm. Serving as Associates Director of the American Institute of Architects Atlanta Chapter, she assisted architectural interns prior to their professional registration through AIA Associates Membership, Info Sessions on IDP, NCARB Certifications, worked closely with AIA Young Architects Forum (YAF), Emerging Professionals, and Continuing Education. She is strongly committed to encouraging minority women to consider professions in architecture, and encourages young interns to complete IDP requirements, take the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) and obtain licensure so they can become more influential in raising community awareness. Ms. Levy has provided design consulting services for organizations such as Georgia State University Facilities Division, RL Brown & Associates, and was a lecturer of architecture design studios at Georgia Tech. She is an instructor at Fellowship Bible Institute, and an Associate Pastor at Faith Ministry C.O.G. Inc in Atlanta Georgia.
